This map shows the maximum land surface temperature for the dry season of the Greater Paramaribo Region 2015-2019. This temperature is standardised so that the mean temperature got a value of 0. Pixels with a positive temperature value, thus, are warmer than the average pixel in Greater Paramaribo, while pixels with a negative temperature value are cooler than the average pixel in Paramaribo. This map shows the maximum land surface temperature for the wet season of the Greater Paramaribo Region 2016-2018. This temperature is standardised so that the mean temperature got a value of 0. Pixels with a positive temperature value, thus, are warmer than the average pixel in Greater Paramaribo, while pixels with a negative temperature value are cooler than the average pixel in Paramaribo. Pixels that do not have a colour could not be calculated as clouds were present in all satellite images used.

This dataset provides information for the urban green spaces monitored every month by a citizen. In a survey app, the citizens systematically report on the vegetation changes, visitors and their activities, and the green space maintenance issues and nuisances. Detailed metadata information is included in the data download. Please note that two urban green spaces (Gladiolenplein and Torricellistraat) contain a typo.
